PROFESSIONAL
Sarah is trained in meditation, injury rehabilitation massage, deep tissue massage, and trigger point therapy. Her specialty is in stress reduction techniques and anatomically-based modalities. She has worked in the massage field since 1996 and currently owns a private practice. She has collaborated with chiropractors regarding spinal injuries and worked with spas incorporating different massage modalities. Sarah aims to help residents achieve their own goals, whether those involve stress reduction and mental peace or relieving physical discomfort through a focus on specific muscle groups.
Sarah believes that Yoga and massage complement each other and achieve maximum benefit with coordinated practice. She assists residents by strengthening their core and improving sore or weak muscle groups through poses, stretching, and massage. While strengthening the muscles, she includes restorative and Yin Yoga, which introduce a meditative element to her sessions. Sarah believes that consistency is key to any healing process.
PERSONAL
Sarah is surrounded by family, including her husband of over 20 years and their three children. She loves being a part of each of their lives. Sarah enjoys hosting events and welcoming guests into her home, and she thrives when working hard and learning new things. Music is a big part of her life, and she regularly sings and plays the piano, guitar, ukulele, and banjo. Sarah has an advanced master gardening certificate and has worked at a local gardening store for five years, where she teaches gardening classes and helps people create beauty and abundance in their spaces. Sarah and her family love to enjoy the great outdoors in Utah and beyond, skiing in the winter, and camping, hiking, and rock climbing in the summer.
HOPE, HEALTH & HEALING
Hope, health, and healing are constants in Sarah’s life. She believes that we achieve a peaceful state of mind, a happy outlook, and a strong body through consistent practice. Namaste.
